Discussion
KEY MESSAGE 1 DESCRIPTION:
Partly cloudy skies will prevail behind a cold front today after any early morning showers end. Developing upslope flow will result in mainly cloudy skies across the mountains. High temperatures will range from the 50s across the north with 60s further to the south. West-northwest wind gusts may approach 30 mph during the afternoon. Tonight will be cooler with CAA continuing as overnight lows fall into the 20s and 30s. Dry conditions are expected this weekend with warming temperatures Sunday and especially Monday.
Mainly dry conditions are likely to persist through at least the middle of next week with fluctuating temperatures, although it will generally be warmer than avg. The next chance for any meaningful rainfall may come at the end of the week as we potentially get into a pattern where richer moisture gets pulled northward ahead of a potentially deep trough.
Aviation
